I am really into printed jeans but never had money to buy them before, after starting work and earning money I ordered these two pants from a website I haven't heard of before but I think I got to know about it from Instagram. So, anyways, I went ahead and ordered and after ordering, I never received an Order ID or Tracking ID of any kind, I just got a confirmation message from Ship\_Prime that my COD order is confirmed on whatsapp, but then again I never got an Order ID so I thought I was not gonna receive anything in the first place and this was probably a scam, then fast-forward to today, I received a message from Ekart Logistics on whatsapp that my order will be arriving today, I got excited thinking "Damn, aint no way I got such a cheap deal, 1049 for 2 pairs of jeans (pictures above)", welllll.... these are the pants that I got, I know I should know that there is nobody else other than me to blame for this, I let greed take over and now I am facing its repercussions, I have raised a complaint on NCH and tried to e-mail on the address that is mentioned in the website but it says that the domain could not be found, do you think I could get a refund if my claim goes through or is somehow validated? I am really unsure about what to do, this is the most I've ever spent on myself and this was my first salary that I got from the new company I just joined, I had to pay a lot of my family debt, so I just had this amount to splurge on myself, and the worst thing is the pants that came in have previously been used and worn😭 OFF SEASONS Website: \[https://offseasonsclothing.myshopify.com/\] Customer support: supports@kayam.in Email status: Undeliverable - domain kayam.in could not be found Delivery partner: Ship\_Prime / Ekart Logistics Amount paid: ₹1,049 paid at the time of delivery via UPI

Marketplace (OLX / Facebook Marketplace / Myntra / etc) scamVehicle sale scamabout 1 month ago

Olx car scam - Mohammed Sheikh Fareed On 15 May, I came across an OLX advertisement for a 2009 Honda City. I contacted the seller, Mohammed Sheikh Fareed, met him personally, inspected the vehicle, and took a test drive. After the inspection, we agreed on a price of ₹1,75,000. The car had a shattered windshield and holes in the headliner. I told Fareed that I would purchase the vehicle provided he got those issues repaired first. That night, Fareed contacted me on WhatsApp and asked for my Aadhaar details, stating that they were required for a notarized sale deed. I agreed. The following day, we went to his advocate’s office and signed the sale deed. Fareed then demanded ₹75,000 as a “token” for the repairs. I paid him. Unfortunately, the repair work was extremely poor instead of properly repairing the headliner, he had apparently stuck a piece of mirror/material onto it. The following day, he brought the car to the advocate’s office and demanded the remaining payment in exchange for the single key he had. Throughout this process, I repeatedly asked about the RC transfer and the actual registered owner of the vehicle. Fareed told me that the owner, Sagar Timbadiya, was in Gujarat for work. He subsequently gave me a phone number, claiming it belonged to Sagar. I later discovered that the number actually belonged to Fareed’s cousin, Noor Jainuddin Ahmed. A few weeks later, I was involved in an accident in which an underage boy driving a Chevrolet Tavera struck the driver’s side of my Honda City. At that point, I also realized that I did not have the vehicle’s insurance documents or the original RC with me. I repeatedly contacted Fareed and asked him to complete the RC transfer. As the matter continued to be delayed, I conducted my own investigation and discovered information indicating that the registered owner, Sagar Timbadiya, had been arrested in connection with a murder case around December 2021. I confronted Fareed about this. We subsequently agreed that I would be willing to keep the vehicle as long as he completed the RC transfer into my name. However, the transfer never happened. Instead, there were repeated delays and explanations attending a wedding, travelling to Tamil Nadu for a funeral, medical appointments and heart-related checkups at GMC, among other reasons. Eventually, I told him clearly that I no longer wanted the vehicle and simply wanted my money back. I approached the Panjim Police and attempted to report the matter. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get an FIR registered. I also approached the cyber police, where one constable took the matter seriously and contacted Fareed directly. After several excuses, Fareed eventually appeared at the police station and gave a written undertaking stating that he would return my money by 17 August. 17 August came. No payment. Despite the written undertaking, I still have not received my money. I am posting this to document my experience and to warn others who may be dealing with this individual or this vehicle. I have supporting evidence including WhatsApp conversations, payment records, the sale deed, communications regarding the RC transfer, and the written undertaking. Justice system in this country is rubbish. Details: Name: 1. Mohammed Sheikh Fareed, 2. Sagar Timbadiya, 3. Noor Jainuddin Ahmed Google drive link to chat records and boice mails sent by the fraudster https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OmA5Vrs_dPwZQnWBxeUjIQ_uEyM0E3PH

Advance fee scam (generic)E-commerce / delivery fraudMarketplace (OLX / Facebook Marketplace / Myntra / etc) scam+1 moreabout 1 month ago

Guys beware and be careful It's an important post. In r/HardwareIndia sub, i made the post to buy a gpu (rtx 3060 12gb) and this guy approached me, and we had the basic discussions. The tests were fine and everything was normal, eventually when it came to payment, at first he said that he and i would settle at 50% but later told me he is a graphics designer and he needs to buy a 5070 and needs the payment and to send more and eventually by 16th of july, i made the full payment of 17.5k. After the payment he kept delaying the delivery, for which he told me he's doing some visa work and is unable to schedule the delivery which seemed a bit sus to me cause how are you not able to schedule simple delivery on a sunday or any other time. I was waiting for the delivery but sadly, my father passed away and i had to sell my pc to pay for the funeral services. So on the 5th of Aug, i told him there's no point of getting the gpu and return the money, he said he will. I asked him for a specific date and he said "Once i have taken care of my visa thing" and continued to delay it. After a while i got fed up and thought I asked him again he said that now he's in surgery, and bear with him. And now my suspension was way too high. I called on the phone no, he gave it to me and it turned out to be a phone no of a random post office. (ik it's dumb of me to not check the phone no the moment i got it but i was too excited to buy the gpu and didn't verify it) And then i realised that I've definitely gotten scammed, then i checked his profile and saw a ps5 listing, and there the comments proved that this guy his a scammer. So please everyone if you see him approaching be careful. I have screenshots of the whole Conversation and payment transaction. I also have his voter id if that's something that can help me, and his upi id. His name is Sudhanshu Chauhan it's the same guy who scammed u/dipeshlakh Also i did make a complaint against him and his acc has been on hold as he claims but it still requires him consent to return the payment so that sucks, ig my 17.5k is gone .

Got scammed out of ₹5,000 on OLX for a Kingston SSD - got mud and sand instead I’m genuinely pissed right now. I found a guy on OLX selling a Kingston SSD from West Bengal. I was already sceptical for getting it shipped so I asked for proof from him so that i can trust hin He showed me an Amazon seller account, a Meesho store, and decent reviews, and even said he runs a nursery and ships plants. That made it look legit enough for me to trust him cause he even sent me videos of logging in those Particular accounts with pending orders of different plants so thought he is a genuine seller The second I transferred the money, he ghosted me. He didn’t block me, so I still had some hope he wasn’t a scammer. Then he randomly replied later and sent tracking details like everything was normal. But when the package arrived, the box had mud and sand in it. No SSD. Just straight-up fraud. And now? He does not responds. Not even properly. Just ignores messages and calls. This is the kind of scam that wastes your money and your time and makes you trust nobody. Be careful on OLX. I am sharing his details if you guys can call him or message him about this Scam It will be very helpful for me if we collectively message him abuot his wrongdoings it might catch his attentions with the messages If anyone can help Name: Rajib Bain Business: VALO NURSERY Location: Chowrangi Mathpara, Chowrangi Bridge, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal 743287 Meesho store: MONDAL ENTERPRISE Meesho Link: https://www.meesho.com/MONDALENTERPRISE26517?_ms=3.0.1 Phone Number: +91 90888 98909
